This video should probably be posted under reviews (since it is technically a review), and I might do still do that at some point. But it's also a nice little video, and now that the Owl Contest is happening, I want to give people the opportunity to see my videos without having to dig through several different pages. So here it is! Take a look, leave a comment, spot the owl... Whatever you want to do!
Back in April, I was tagged by Aria from BookGeekMovieFreak to do the HELP ME! Book Tag, which she created. I genuinely had a lot of fun making this video, and I hope some of it rubs off on you when you're watching it. Oh, and don't forget: this video marks the official beginning of Sprite's Owl Contest. It's on.
Remember that little owl I introduced a couple of videos ago? I asked for name suggestions, and actually ended up getting a few (thank you!). So I would hereby like to formally introduce you all to Mr Sprite Know-It-Owl. In this video, I make a little announcement about his purpose in my videos from now on, so if you would like to participate in a long-running contest, please take a look!
I was tagged a long time ago (somewhere in January or February) to do this tag, and I didn't get around to it until now. The main topic in this video, however, is the little discussion/rant in the middle. If you want to join in on the discussion, please leave a comment on Youtube!
My new video went up a few hours ago, and then I suddenly remembered I have a website and I should probably post these things. ;) So here it is! I'll be combining my wrap-ups and TBRs from now on, since my TBRs are usually pretty short and merging them leaves me more time per month to make other videos.
The little owl that's on my shoulder in this video was handmade especially for me by Jeanne, who also won my 200 subscribers giveaway a while ago (currently at over 330 by the way, still going strong!). It needs a name though! So if you can think of a cool owlish name, please leave a comment and I might use it. A little while ago, I made a video (which I don't think I ever got round to sharing on here) called Letter to Daphne. It was inspired by many 'Letters to' series which I've sometimes watched in passing on Youtube, such as Emily Diana Ruth's Letters to July and Carrie Hope Fletcher's Letters to Autumn, but in particular Daphne's Letters to Spring. I'd already been toying with the idea of doing a 'Letters to October' series this year, but Daphne's series inspired me so much that I didn't want to wait until autumn. So I decided to start writing letters to people (and potentially also locations, books, buildings, trees...). My letter to Daphne was the first one in this series, and now the second one is up: a letter to Amber, my sister.
